Martin Andersson has today left the job as Director-FI, a post he has held since 2009. Deputy Director-General Martin Noréus takes over until the government has appointed a new Director General.
– I have had the privilege of leading FI in the for six years, says Martin Andersson. It has been an amazing time. At the same time approaching new challenges for FI. In that situation, I think it is a good time to hand over to someone else who can lead FI the next six years.

Recently, the government appointed two new Members of the FI’s board of directors. Anna Pettersson Westerberg and Sonja Daltung.
Anna Pettersson Westerberg become vice chairman. She is an economist and was Secretary of State for Social Security Minister Ulf Krister Andersson during 2010-2014.
Sonja Daltung become a member. She is an economist and Permanent Secretary of the Expert Group on Aid analysis (under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs). She has previously served as chief secretary of the Financial Crisis Committee, Head of Unit at the Ministry of Finance’s Financial Department and worked at the Riksbank.
