Löfven: Will not investigate interest deductions – Expressen

Yesterday opened the Minister for Financial Per Bolund, MP, to Government should review whether interest deductions for mortgage borrowers will be reduced.

But Prime Minister Stefan Löfven, S, stands by its earlier statement that the interest deductions should be kept.

– We have no such proposals Now, says Löfven.

Yesterday FSA announced, FI, that you do not proceed with his claim for repayment of the mortgage.

It got Per Bolund to comment on the interest deductions.

– When such a situation arises, we will revise it. The question of interest deductions should we revise forward, but it requires a broad consensus politically, he said at the Government’s press conference on the FI’s vengeance.

Last night also said the Left Party leader Jonas Sjöstedt that in autumn budget negotiations will require that the interest deduction should be scaled down.

But when Expressen on Friday asked the Prime Minister whether the interest deduction should be reviewed, he answered like this:

– There were no such proposals then and there are no such proposals now either. However, we are obliged to be careful to follow developments in household debt because it is clear that it can lead to big problems.

But Per Bo says it will be investigated. You disagree with?

– No, we had no suggestions then and not now either. Now we will draw conclusions for the FSA’s decision not to go forward with amortization requirements. We share the view of the entire government, and much of the economics profession, we have a problem with debt.

– We’ll handle it, that we agree in the government. We must do it in such a way that we do not make it to the economy and destroys the individual households. Because they have concluded their loans with certain conditions, can not we come and pull the rug for the households. There we agree.
