Medvedev: Russia’s economic situation is very difficult – Business Week

Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev alerts in Russia’s parliament for the country’s economic situation is very difficult.

Russia’s financial situation is really difficult, during January-March GDP shrank by 2 percent. But the Russian budget deficit remains at a search level.

That said Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev in Russia’s parliament, the Duma, on Tuesday, reports Bloomberg News.

He said that Russia will live through the oil price collapse and sanctions.

The prime minister also said that the takeover of the Crimea was the only option and that the Crimea significance is similar to that when the Berlin Wall fell.
