The Swedish gaming giants ads pop up on parts of the internet that all other companies would rather avoid.
Sweden’s largest digital gaming companies spend each year huge amounts on advertising, but the money ends up not only in the television channels’ pockets. Game Giants pumps even millions of porn sites and illegal pirate sites. Ads for both Betsson, Mr. Green and Leo Vegas can appear on pages that Pornhub, The Pirate Bay and a number of other dubious sites. This writes Di Digital.
Games Giants blaming the companies that are hired to buy ad space. It states that while advertising is contrary to the companies’ own internal rules.

Ad Sales for these companies is complex and thousands of subcontractors involved. The majority of Swedish companies appear not on illegal sites, so obviously there are other methods that will eliminate connected with them.
Malin Sparrow-Rydberg, Betsson’s communications manager, tells Di Digital that the company’s contract prohibits that advertising will appear in the offensive, illegal or obscene context. “But we can not control it. However, we make ongoing and continuous follow-ups.”
If you visit the file-sharing site The Pirate Bay, you are met including the ads for Leo Vegas and Mr. Green. Even in several streaming services providing illegal material appears several Swedish gaming company ads. It pops up ads often side by side with advertising for various different porn sites.
All the bookmakers Di Digital interviewing believe that it is the suppliers who have done wrong. However, it is obvious that a number of major piracy and porn sites earned millions on the Swedish companies.
