Quiz struggle has become a cash cow – and it is looking at the game your boss wants … – Business Week

The company makes millions in profits and now it is time to broaden the product catalog.

FEO Media, the company behind the popular mobile game Quiz fight, reports strong 2015 and now opens the company for an IPO. It writes Di Digital. The figures in the income statement for 2015 shows a turnover of SEK 126 million and operating profit 68.5 million. The positive outcome can be attributed to Quiz struggle but also the company’s other games, Pixduel. Revenues from the games have not been traced to the actual download, because it is free. Instead, the company has earned large sums of sales within apps and advertising.

The date produced successes have also made that it now has its sights set on launching Pixduel in other countries, mainly Australia. Pixduel are already available in the US and the UK.

With the plans also include a third game, Quiz Clash Enterprise . The questions which will revolve around work, including work culture. “It’s a game and it’ll still be fun. It should not feel like it’s job,” said Frits Timmermans, product manager at FEO Media.

“We believe that this could be huge. We get emails every day from major companies in Europe who want this to their employees, “said Robert Willstedt , president and one of four founders of FEO Media, to Breakit. “We are also in discussions with a major Swedish universities that want to offer the game to their students. During the course of development, there has emerged a variety of applications.”

“It could for example involve taking pictures of their products and make a lot of relevant questions about them. or it could be a way to teach the corporate culture and company values, or just to create a möjlgihet for new employees to learn which restaurants now usually have their après works on, “says he Breakit.

Robert Willstedt says that Quiz fight for business is a way to broaden the choice facing a potential IPO. “Just having mobile games can be seen as uncertain when an IPO,” he said to Di Digital and confirms that an IPO is an opportunity to come.
