While the Germans are looking to more individual villages and small cabins in the woods, looking for the Norwegians and Danes to more coastal locations, according to Johan Vesterberg. As confirmed by Daniel Axelsson, broker at real estate agency in Strömstad and Tanum in West Bengal, one of the counties in Sweden according to Statistics Sweden attracts Norwegians most.

Cheap, close and scenic Daniel Axelsson’s explanation for Norwegians are attracted to stugköp in the county.

– the low interest rates also make it favorable for the Norwegians to buy homes in Sweden, says Daniel Axelsson.

A new trend is the younger Norwegians are now also starting to buy homes in Sweden.

– While interest earlier was highest among 50-plussare, increases are now among 40-year-olds, he said.

While the Norwegians prefer Västra Götaland and Värmland, enticed Danes most Kronoberg and Skåne.
