Sony wants to do about the popular Playstation games to apps.
Sony choose to follow in the footsteps of Nintendo, now gaming giant to invest heavily in mobile games. The Japanese company will launch a new business unit in order to download popular Playstation games for iOS and Android devices. It writes TechCrunch.
Forward Works, which Sony’s new device for mobile games will be called, will be officially launched on 1 April. Responsible for leading the new operation will Atsushi Morita, currently head of Sony Computer Entertainment in Japan and elsewhere in Asia.

Although the news may please many gamers it is worth pointing out that the Forward Works initially only going to focus on players based in Japan and Asia, according to the statement given by Sony on Thursday.
Nintendo rushed the stock market on Tuesday after the company announced that its first game for smartphones, Miitomo, attracted one million users in just three days since the release.
Among the PlayStation’s most popular titles are Call of Duty, Grand Theft Auto, FIFA, Hitman and Final Fantasy. It remains to be seen exactly which games the PlayStation right today is actually going to be apps.
The gaming companies have long had an eye on mobile games creator the fat revenues and apparently now wants to be involved and share the cake.
