The Japanese car giant Honda has chosen to withdraw an additional 4.5 million vehicles containing Takatas defective airbags, writes the Financial Times.
Thus, the country’s third-largest automaker, which is among Another Takatas largest customer in the important US market, had to withdraw a total of about 24.5 million vehicles.
Honda has already had to lower profit forecast because of provisions intended to cover up for recalls. Although sales forecast for the full year has been reduced to 4.45 million vehicles from 4.62 million.
