The Stockholm Stock Exchange fell during the initial trade, following declines in Asia, where the Shanghai Stock Exchange excelled themselves with a race of over 8 percent. After nearly 30 minutes of trading the OMXS index fell by 1.3 percent, while stock markets in Paris, London and Frankfurt had gone down by between 0.5 and 1.3 percent.
AstraZeneca announced during morning that the company sells the rights to the drug Caprelsa for up to 2.6 billion. The share fell by 1.5 percent.
Ericsson, which has received an order of the unclear economic value of an operator in Gabon in Africa, dropped 1.2 percent.
The worst among the most traded shares were ABB, down 3.0 percent.
