Greece seeking new loans

A request from Greece for a new loan from the International Monetary Fund were received on Friday, the IMF confirm.
“We will discuss with the Greek authorities and our European partners about the timing and conditions of the discussions, “it said in the statement from the IMF.
The Greek Finance Ministry said earlier on Friday that Athens has formally submitted an application for a new loan, while the government is negotiating with the EU , the ECB and the IMF on a third support programs.
The formal negotiations would have begun on Friday, but representatives of the lenders stated that they found no safe room in Athens for talks.
