Boliden had second quarter net profit of 810 million kronor, compared with 296 million the same time last year.
Operating profit for the second quarter of 1.257 billion crowns against 374 million in the second quarter of 2014, excluding the revaluation of process inventory.
During the period from April to May, the mining side good, despite the disruptions to production at Aitik. Operating profit doubled against the same period last year.
On the smelting side reported strong earnings despite major planned maintenance shutdowns. Improved prices and conditions for smelters boosted earnings.
Immediately after the report was published at lunchtime share rose four percent.
