Viaplay escalating war against Netflix by securing exclusive rights to several popular children’s programs. Now, as soon as the competitor take down the content. “An amazing, wonderful day,” says the CEO.
MTG’s streaming service Viaplay has secured exclusive rights for independent videoon-demand programs from Nickelodeon in the Nordic countries by 2020, this means that the other players, including Netflix, as soon as possible to take down all content from Nickelodeon.
As of October 1 Viaplay subscribers in Sweden access to Nickelodeon’s content, which includes the SpongeBob SquarePants and Dora the Explorer.
