(SIX) Bank customers have been happier in years and the industry has thus  recovered from last year's downturn, according to a survey by  Swedish Quality Index (SQI).       Especially corporate customers have become more satisfied with their banks.       "It should be noted that loyalty to the banks has not increased in  the same extent, while customers find it difficult to get  the full need met with only one bank relationship. "It says  Swedish Quality Index CEO John Parmler.       Just under half of all retail customers have another bank in addition to its  main bank, a proportion that has increased in recent years. Customers do not change  bank without acquiring more.       Most satisfied customers in the private market, Handelsbanken and  Länsförsäkringar. Among business customers, Handelsbanken and Danske  Bank the most satisfied customers, according to SKI.       "Generally, customers have very high standards of service and   availability which is something that these banks manage to live up to.  It is interesting to technical services such as Internet banking and mobile  apps are largely a hygiene factor. Instead it is  industry as a whole continued service and advice that is the most  crucial, "says Johan Parmler.       "There is a clear trend throughout the Nordic fact that it is through high  services today can create competitiveness in the first place, and not  through services or range of new products, "he continues.       The study is based on 11,606 telephone interviews among private and  corporate customers. The measurement was carried out during August and September in 2014.    Johan Lind, tel +46 48 8586164  mailto: johan.lind@six-group.se  www.blogg.six.seSIXNews  SIX News
