The opening of the hotel in the Chinese center Dragon Gate on the E4 south of Gavle has been delayed again.
A star-studded grand opening was held in August to celebrate everything was finally clear, but the actual opening of the hotel had to wait, writes Arbetarbladet. Now in October slid opening up another month and a half, almost six months after the scheduled inauguration.
I can promise that we will open in November, says Kenny Li, managing director of the company behind Dragon Gate to Arbetarbladet.
The reason behind this further delay is that inspection of the fire alarm took longer than expected.
The development of Dragon Gate, which began in 2004, has been dogged by delays, work environment offenses and bankruptcies. According to the businessman Li Jingchun, who pay for the facility, the idea was that Dragon Gate would become China’s window to Sweden.
