160 lose their jobs at the truck factory – Västerbotten Courier

A production transfer of forklifts means that 160 employees at the company Kalmar in Lidhult, lose their jobs, reports the P4 Kronoberg. In March it was announced that the truck manufacturer concentrating its production to Poland. Now is the negotiation between the employer and the union ended.

The factory in Lidhult be phased out gradually. Division Chief Dan Pettersson has previously indicated to the radio that the aim of the move is to achieve economies of scale.
