Miriam Bryant, Movits, Omar Souleyman and Emil Jensen et al Malmö Festival! – Mynewsdesk (press release)

We’ve saved these seven musical treasures in a secret chest but now we can finally call out the megaphone: Ore öfestivalens program is completely complete !!

  Arre! Arre!
In just two years, Malmö band has struck in the music Sweden as a clenched fist in the air. Prepare yourself for a wave surf guitars, danceable punk attitude and a throwback to the 90s riot grrrl scene.

  Emil Jensen
One of our most unique and urgent voices right now. Finally, he returns to the Malmö Festival!

  Erik Lundin
He is Stockholm Västerorts worst-kept secret, rapper with sharp tongue bars haters like freshly cut grass and make us chanting “Annie Lööf, Annie, Annie Lööf.”

  Miriam Bryant
Two years after P3 Gold nomination for “Push Play” flew like Cupid’s arrows straight into the Swedish people’s hearts. In “So much better” we got to know the person behind the voice and her interpretations have paved the way for success.

  Movits!
One foot stands firmly in the present, the other uppstudsigt leaping between genres and eras. Movits! texts are punkier and more brutal than ever, but the charm is intact. Come and be uppviglad to dance.

  Nightmen
The band was born in the echo between the mill and the Northern Grängesbergsgatan, the fog of 3,5′or and television evenings. The members have roots in Malmö Acts YAST, Terrible Feelings and MF / MB / Nightmen but is something completely different.

  Omar Souleyman
Party singer from Syria broke through in the West in 2011 with his remix of Björk’s “Crystalline” and the following year he sang at the Nobel Peace Prize concert. At last Malmöfestivalen take part of his wildly danceable love fest.
