The Danes have gained more control over their own finances, new figures show. Fewer Danes have registered liabilities, and total debt is also falling, reports the newspaper Politiken.
Meanwhile, a survey shows that three out of four Danes, or 77 percent, saving money each month for unexpected expenses, vacation or major purchases for the home.
– We see clear progress compared to our previous studies. It’s more that makes budgets and more saving. It is a very positive development which shows that more make healthy personal financial choices, says Louise Skjødsholm the Financial Supervisory newspaper.
Danske Bank’s private economist Louise Agger Strøm Hansen explains the development of several’ve got a job and thus have more money in household, while interest rates are very low.
