Fingerprint screws on the forecast – Västerbotten Courier

Biometrics Company Fingerprint Cards reported a sharp profit boost for the second quarter and raises the floor of the sales forecast for the full year.

Second-quarter profit before tax was raised to 709 8 million for the second quarter. That compares with profit of 65.4 million in the corresponding period last year.

The result was better than expected. Analysts had on average expected a profit lift to $ 686 million.

Turnover rose to 1.666 billion kronor, up from 445 million kronor a year earlier.

The forecast for this year’s revenue adjusted 7200-8300 million, from 7000-8500 million.

“the operating margin for 2016 is expected to continue to exceed that of the second half of 2015, which was 37 per cent,” writes Fingerprint.
