Down on the Stockholm Stock Exchange – Norrtelje Newspaper

At the close on Wednesday the OMXS Index dropped 1.0 percent to 454.5.

Mood State was characterized by a fall down the price of oil and the sharp fall in leading Asian exchanges.

On the Stockholm Stock Exchange was primarily steel group SSAB who pulled upwards with a lifting rate of 3.2 percent.

telecoms company Ericsson rose 0.6 percent.

The engineering group ABB fell 0.3 percent despite a unexpectedly strong results for the fourth quarter of last year. Sandvik, a different reporting companies in the engineering sector, dropped 0.7 percent.

The oil and gas Lundin Petroleum rose 0.1 percent after its accounts.

Most down among the index heavyweights were big bank Swedbank, which fell 2.8 percent. Other major banks followed downward.

Another heavy loser was the industrial group Alfa Laval, which went down by 2.6 percent after tumbling 11 percent after the financial statements on Tuesday.

the major European stock markets were also gloomy faces. FTSE index fell 1.4 percent, the Frankfurt Stock Exchange’s DAX index fell 1.5 percent and the Paris Stock Exchange’s CAC index fell 1.3 percent.
