Folksam is said to want to reduce ownership in Swedbank – Business World

Swedbank’s largest shareholder, with Folksam CEO Jens Henriksson, wants to reduce its stake in Swedbank, writes Svenska Dagbladet on Wednesday afternoon, citing “several well-informed sources”. Folksam back, however, show the data.

According to the newspaper, there is an ambition of Chairman Anders Sundström will take up track and locate a large banking business for Swedbank’s part.

SvD report that a merger with Danske Bank’s closest at hand, according to people close to the process of evaluating Swedbank future SvD Business.

Folksam CEO would not comment SvD’s tasks closer without repeating the Folksam official I said earlier about the holding of Swedbank.

“I do not comment on rumors. Our holding in Swedbank’s long-term and strategic,” says Henriksson to SvD.
