Since the Tax Agency the other day left his analysis of savings tax accounts, the finance minister responded and she now wants to take away the option to receive interest on the money.
However, it is not simply that do it, because the interest on the tax forms are prescribed by law, which has to be amended. Under current law, interest on tax account fall below 0.5625 percent, which in practice is even higher because the interest on the tax account is tax-free.
The Tax Agency has on various occasions highlighted there is authority to manage the private and corporate savings. Right now is these “savings” to over 20 billion.
After a possible change in the law will, however, not clear.
