Danske Bank reported a net profit of 13.1 billion Danish kroner for the Group for the full year 2015, it is clear from the accounts.
The result was affected by write-downs of goodwill of SEK 4.6 billion.
Before impairment charges, profit amounted to 17.7 billion, representing an increase of 36 percent compared to last year.
Revenue amounted to 44.2 billion Danish crowns which was in line with figures from 2014.
For the fourth quarter upgick profit before tax to 866 million Danish kroner and Danske Bank, beating the expectations which stood at 615 million, according to a survey by the Enquiry Financial.
The bank’s Swedish operations delivered a strong result for the year of almost 4.3 billion. This corresponds to an increase of five percent compared with the year before where all business areas showed strong numbers.

The activities in 2015 included the launch of TouchID and several major transactions in the area corporates a & amp; institution.
Danske Bank plans now to start a mortgage company in Sweden and will send a formal request to FI during the spring. The program is expected to begin no earlier than 2017 and is part of the focus on growth in Sweden, according to a separate annual report to the bank’s Swedish operations.
