For the next fund launch considering private equity firm IK Investment Partners to move the fund’s domicile from Jersey.

It said the company’s CEO Helena Stjernholm in connection with a seminar at the Royal Academy of Engineering Sciences in Stockholm today.

– We look absolutely on the face next fund. That it should be in Sweden I do not think will happen because we have such a large footprint in Europe but we are looking at moving from Jersey.

A substance that were raised during the workshop, given the past election debate was among other venture capital companies’ profits in the welfare and IK’s ownership in the company Attendo care. Stjernholm told me that she was pleased that the Left had a worse result, precisely because they did not treat that prohibit this type of company.

– Had they been better election results, it would have been even tougher said Stjernholm.

While she still believes the changes in the industry and fewer investments in similar companies.

– I do not think investment in this sector will be as great in the future, no matter what happens, she said.

The competition in the sector generally is increasing, but private equity takes a lot of money in the future. Capital flow continues because we are in a low interest rate environment and institutional investors looking for yield, but the biggest problem today is finding good companies and not pay too much, just because the competition is so great, says Stjernholm.

Moreover, she believes that private equity has a role to play in society to access class for institutional investors to invest in unlisted companies and thereby help to build up a competitive industry.
