100 people laid off from Väderstadsverken outside Linköping, writes corren.se. The notice affects both salaried and hourly employees. The reason is the sharp drop in sales in Russia and Ukraine. The company has 800 employees in Holland and 200 outside Sweden. The company’s main markets are Russia, Sweden, England, Germany and France.
The company has previously tried to meet the decline with stop weeks in production.
