According to Statistics Sweden’s latest house price survey family house prices rose by nearly 4 percent in the latest three-month period from May to July 2016 compared with the previous period from February to April, 2016.
Two counties against the stream
In Kalmar and Halland prices fell 1 percent. Other counties all show gains. Most of all, prices in Jamtland (+12 percent), followed by Gotland (+7 percent).
In the metropolitan areas Greater Malmö, Greater Gothenburg and Greater Stockholm, prices rose between 2 and 4 percent.
Gains in all counties on an annual basis
on an annual basis, the latest three months compared with the same period a year earlier, prices have risen by 10 percent.
Distributed regional county and annual basis, prices rose in all 21 counties. The largest price increases reported in Stockholm and Jämtland County of 14 percent. The lowest price surge can be found in Norrbotten County 4 percent. In the metropolitan areas Greater Malmö, Greater Gothenburg and Greater Stockholm, prices rose between 9 and 14 percent.
