Twitter has appointed Hugh Johnson and Martha Lane Fox as new Board members with immediate access. It is clear from a press release.
Hugh Johnson is 54 years and is vice chairman and chief financial officer of PepsiCo. Has previously served on the board of the media company AOL.
Martha Lane Fox is 43 years and was co-founder and CEO of lastminute.com, a travel reservation service between 1998 and 2003. She has since 2005 been the founder and chairman of the Lucky Voice, a privately karaoke companies. Furthermore, she is since March 2013 in the House of Lords as the so-called “crossbench peer”. She has also served on the board for the retail company Marks & amp; Spencer.
Peter Currie and Peter Chernin, whose terms of office expired at the AGM in 2016, resigned and will therefore leave the Board at the AGM.
