Skanska is reconciled to Brazil – Sveriges Radio

Skanska is one of seven companies risk paying high fines.

– We are of course very seriously these allegations and the investigation. But we do not know so much more at the moment, but we will follow this closely during the process, says press officer Edvard Lind.

The last decade has Skanska repeatedly accused to have bribed their way in Latin America. The company has survived unscathed when the case ended up in court.

Shortly after the investigation of Petrobras kicked off two years ago decided Skanska to leave the region. It has now also been made.

Even in neighboring Argentina has a large corruption scandal, which even named after Skanska pressed construction company. There, the bribes have been paid around 2005 in connection with the large gas pipelines were built.
