The unions are prohibited to strike – Göteborgs-Posten



There will be no strike on SVT flex pension. The Labour Court denies Union and Sweden’s Engineers to strike in pensions issue.

The Labour Court goes on employers organsiationen Almega line – the pension agreement is not terminated and therefore advises industrial peace. And then they should not strike.
Over 10,000 members of the Union, Sweden’s Engineers and Seko was served notice of the strike on Monday, but the unions had to cancel the strike in anticipation of the Labour Court would make a decision after Almega legal objection.

– the Labour Court was informed that there is industrial peace on pensions was expected, and in line with the interpretation ALMEGA done by existing law. Complicated questions that pensions should be handled calmly and without the threat of strikes, says Almega CEO Anna-Karin Hatt in a press release.

– It was of course not at all what we had hoped for, says Swedish Association of Graduate Engineers negotiator Camilla Frankelius said.
– Now we continue to negotiate to get the flex pension in our agreement, she continues .

“the Court’s interim decision does not stop the needs of members flex board, but prevents us right now. a solution must sooner or later,” writes Martin Linder Union ‘Union in a statement.
