Therefore rushing Byggmax – Private Businesses

Byggmax releases preliminary figures for the second quarter due to profit greatly increased. It is clear from a press release.

In the quarter, sales grew by 14 percent compared with the same period last year, and net profit grew by 37 percent.

Sales amounted to 1.299 billion crowns, operating profit after depreciation 131 million and net profit SEK 97 million. E-commerce sales grew by 52 percent.

The above figures are therefore provisional and the complete quarterly report released on 15 July.

35-36 percent more than market expectations

A 37-percent increase in earnings of Byggmax’s earnings compared with last year’s second quarter, representing a quarterly outcomes at 35-36 percent more than market expectations, as the analysts who follow Byggmax was set at an almost unchanged result.

It says CEO Magnus Agervald to the news agency Direkt shortly after the stock market opening on Tuesday, where Byggmaxaktien rises sharply in the wake of the building materials company’s positive profit warning this morning.

Magnus Agervald want to wait for the report on July 15 with additional comments on what accounted for the lift, but points out the press message listing e- trade increase of 52 percent. E-commerce accounts for about 5-10 percent of Byggmax’s sales as the company announced at the last reporting date, and Magnus Agervald adds why:

“So it is not the whole explanation.”

After an hour’s trading was Byggmax shares up 9.7 percent to a record level of SEK 65.
