Anders Borg is planning share purchases – Private Businesses

Kinnevik’s new Vice President Anders Borg thinks buy shares in both Kinnevik and Millicom, where he is about to become a member of the Board, during the year.

It said the former finance minister on Monday’s General Meeting of Kinnevik, shortly before the board election, after having previously mentioned three reasons why he chose to get involved in the Stenbeck companies:

The first Kinnevik’s ability to build, create and transform the business, such as Millicom’s financial operations in East Africa, and nätmodehandlaren Zalando whose growth has been very high.

second Anders Borg’s own fascination for emerging markets, where 2 billion people are currently experiencing a growth rate of 7 percent per year, twice as much as when Sweden went from poor to rich country.

third Kinnevik’s focus on orderliness, something Anders Borg illustrated with Managing Director Lorenzo Grabau preference for terms such as “discipline”, “measurements” and “caution”.

During his time as finance minister took Anders Borg shares exclusively through index funds he said.
