Athens pays IMF Bill – Swedish newspaper Svenska Dagbladet

It says IMF chief Christine Lagarde after a meeting with Greek Minister Yanis Varoufakis.

It’s all about approximately 450 million euro Greece under the terms of the loan shall pay to the IMF, the 9 April.

Lagarde also said that the talks on the terms of Greece’s bailout will resume on Monday.

Varoufakis confirmed in a statement that Greece is going to meet all their commitments to the country’s lenders.

It has been speculated on the possibility that Greece would defer payment, then Interior Minister Nikos Voutzis recently threatened with it unless Athens granted new emergency loans. The country prioritize payments to pensions and wages, he said.
