Sandvik confirms the change of CEO – Private Businesses

In the meantime, the CFO Mats Backman function as acting President and CEO.

Björn Rosengren is 56 years and has been CEO of the Finnish Wärtsilä since September 2011 when recruited from Atlas Copco, a company he had work in over 13 years.

Wärtsilä has until today performed well on the stock market during Björn Rosengren’s leadership. The share for the period rose by 111 percent.

Sandvik B shares have fallen 26 percent since Faxander took over in early 2011 and could rise nearly 5 percent before the stock market topped on Monday, sparked by the media data MD -bytet.

In Helsinki fell Wärtsilä shares at the same time quickly when the data began to circulate at lunchtime on Monday, but then recovered somewhat. Unlike Sandvik shares Wärtsilä’s share is not listed stopped during the day.
