During the last three months have housing prices in the country as a whole, in the moving average, dropped 3 percent compared with the previous three months, and house prices have risen 2 percent.

The latest twelve months, housing prices have risen 14 per cent, while house prices have risen 10 percent.

Swedish Mäklarstatistik writes in a commentary that the decrease in prices of condominiums in recent months is a natural consequence of the share of expensive Stockholm and Gothenburg Apartments decreases sharply during the summer .

“Although housing supply increases substantially after sommarstiltjen is at historically low levels. Compared to the peak in 2011, the number of apartments and houses for sale at half the size. That many speculators competing for the few objects will likely contribute to continued price increases in the autumn “, says Staffan Tell, press officer at Hemnet, in a statement.
