He takes over the Nordea after Clausen – Private Businesses

The new management team will succeed Christian Clausen, who has decided to leave his position. The change comes into force on 1 November 2015, Christian Clausen continues in an advisory capacity until the end of 2016, when he leaves the bank.

According to a press release.

Casper von Koskull recruited Nordea 2010 as Head of Wholesale Banking (large companies drive) and member of Group Management. He has previously had a career in international banking in Frankfurt, New York and London, most recently as Managing Director and Partner at Goldman Sachs.

Torsten Hagen Jørgensen has held the role of Head of Group Corporate Centre and CFO at Nordea since January 2013.

Chairman Björn Wahlroos says the following about Christian Clausen:

“I have appreciated our cooperation in the past four years, and I am very happy that Christian will accept nomination to the Board of Sampo, Nordea’s largest shareholder. “
