On Thursday found a bloody woman by the roadside in Uppsala.
She had injuries to his head and police have arrested a man who was at the scene, who is suspected of attempted murder .
The police were alerted by the public at 17:30 on Thursday that a woman lying in the roadside at County Road 255, near Krusenberg outside Uppsala.
She was bleeding from the head when the police got there, a man was arrested at the scene.
– He is arrested on suspicion of attempted murder, says Anton Widmark, internal command at the Uppsala police.
Both the man and the woman is in her 50s. How their relationship looks like and how the woman injured police want to comment.
– More unfortunately, I can not say at present, it is very fresh, says Anton Widmark.
The police will hold hearings with the man on Friday.
The woman treated at the University Hospital in Uppsala. Her injuries should not be life threatening and she was conscious when police arrived.
