Löfven marked the näthat and polarization – Aftonbladet

The murder of Lisa Holm, grenade attacks in Skåne and knife attack at Ikea.

After this summer’s dramatic events, people’s anxiety increased – and in the wake of this, the tone of the debate has hardened .

Stefan Löfven called for in his speech, human decency.

– We shall defend decency and stand against the polarization pulling Sweden, he said.

Stefan Löfven held a moment ago his sommartal in Vasa Park, for the fourth time since he was elected leader of the Social Democrats in 2012. This year was the first time he met the crowd in the park as the prime minister.

He began his speech by highlighting the increasing polarization in Sweden. He stressed that he understands that people are worried and that vigorous efforts are required to access problems, ranging from organized crime, smuggling and increasing variety of weapons.

Polarization

But he also struck though he refuses to set it up in the growing polaisering that followed in the wake of the violent incidents.

– It is not unemployment that makes a grown man to lift themselves out of hatred of a young woman on the net. Getting a parent to write that beggars should be shot. Receiving a left extremist threatening someone for having the right opinions. There is something else, he said.

– There is an unwillingness to understand each other. An inability to see the serious consequences of their own words. And an absence of public, human decency.

He quoted the then Jewish writer Elie Wiesel with the words “You will not stand silently”.

Minister Anders Ygeman, responsible for many of the issues Löfven mentioned in his speech, was pleased with what he heard.

– It was a good speech that shows that we see the challenges that exist and that we do something about it, he said.

“Rock-solid conviction”

Before the speech, he revealed the news he had to present. Strengthening of Applied Sciences in Sweden and improving labor market matching. Young people who need to strengthen their grades, the unemployed who need training for jobs or employees with the poor skills to be able to help in this effort.

– Foremost of all is each person’s opportunity for jobs, it is my firm conviction says Stefan Löfven.

– We have today an absurd phenomenon, 400,000 unemployed and at the same time more jobs than ever.

According to Stefan Löfven and AIDA HADZIALIC, secondary and knowledge of school Minister who also attended the press conference, will now matching labor market problems solved. It’s about training people to be able to take the jobs available.

– It’s about giving people the skills required for them to be get the jobs that are out there, says Hadzialic, which means that nine out of ten people get jobs within one year after completion of training.

– This is a very sharp tool.

Missing beaters

This includes increasing the number of places in higher vocational education by 20 percent starting this year and up to the 2019th

The program will be focused on skills against job where there is a shortage. In all, this year were 25 000 places around the country.

– We need to educate people to the shortage occupations that actually there when this is fully exchanged, we increase seats by 6,000 per year, says Löfven.

The greatest shortage of staff prevails today in sheet metal work, plumbing and machine construction. But also in health care, trade and service companies, employers have tried to hire but had problems finding trained personnel.

By focusing on vocational education, the Government expects to reach a step closer to its goal of Sweden will have the EU s lowest unemployment in 2020.
