Chockladstriden M & M continues – Västerbotten Courier

In June settled a drawn sweets battle between Marabou and competitor in March colorful chocolate balls M & amp; M.

According to a decision of the Court of Appeal, M & amp; M banned on the Swedish market from 30 June. But now, Mars has appealed the decision to the Supreme Court.

Until 1998, Marabou, owned by Kraft / Mondelez, an agreement with the US chocolate giant in March that the company was not allowed to sell their chocolate balls in Scandinavia and Finland as the Swedish Marabou classic M existed since 1957.

When Mars then launched M & amp; M in Sweden some years ago sued Mondelez 2010 March for deceptive counterfeiting and passing off.
