Luggage Chaos at Kastrup – Aftonbladet

The ground staff at Kastrup strike yesterday.

During the Saturday morning, the disturbances in air traffic and the continued chaos in baggage handling.

– The staff do not know what happens. They just say they do not know something, say airline passenger Petar Mataic.

On Friday night, the ground staff stopped work at Copenhagen Airport, Kastrup, which has affected SAS flights .

Petar Mataic, 26, from Sweden, says there was a halt at SAS baggage early on Saturday morning.

– Everything poorly handled. First, the staff did not know what happened, and it took a very long time before we got any information. The terminal is crammed and the queues winding their safe hundred meters back. It’s chaos, he said.

Petar traveling to the United States, but is unsure if he has time with the flight in Frankfurt that will take him on.

Dissatisfied with his schedule

Malin Selander, SAS press officer, says the baggage staff has resumed its work, but that air traffic will be affected by yesterday’s strike.

– Yesterday decided baggage staff to have a union meeting. It is a totally illegal action and we apologize to our customers have been affected, she said.

Why has staff on strike?

– They are probably dissatisfied with his schedule. But we had a hearing in 2014 and then we agreed without any funny business.
