2100 jobs to be removed at Ericsson – Swedish Radio

2100 jobs are removed at the company Ericsson in Sweden. This means that many of Ericsson will be forced to quit their jobs.

The staff at Ericsson are working with technology including mobile phones and the Internet. The company is Swedish but has numerous locations in the world.

Even earlier, Ericsson executives said they will save, and that many workers have to stop. But it is only now that it is clear how many people need to stop here in Sweden. The company has employees in Stockholm, Katrineholm, Boras, Gothenburg, Kumla, Linköping and Karlskrona.

This adds up to approximately 1 700 people who will get to stop at Ericsson in Sweden. Most jobs will disappear in Stockholm, but the worst hit yet Katrineholm where Ericsson brand will close and all who work there will lose their jobs.

Ericsson says it is 2100 services disappear from Ericsson. But some employees may not work full-time or retiring. Therefore, there are fewer people than the service disappear.
