Firemen in conflict

Fire-fighters ‘National Association (BRF) have rejected the mediators’ final bid for emergency firefighters, which means that BRF’s conflict notice executed at six o’clock on Monday morning.
Sweden Municipalities and Regions (SKL) agreed to the offer.
“We considered that, despite significant expenses was an offer we could accept. Unfortunately continue our counterparts to have unrealistic expectations in this negotiation,” said Helene Fritzon, Chairman of SKL’s negotiating delegation, in a press release.
The conflict affecting the country around 10,000 part-time firefighters and layoff means, among other blockades against their working income in addition to normal contingency schedule. Exemption is given, however, for general danger. At fires and more serious accidents will firemen to pull out, regardless of overtime or not.
