The business climate in the German economy declined slightly in June compared to the month before, according to research firm Ifo’s monthly measurements where 7,000 companies are included.
The index fell to 107.4 from 108.5 in May. Analysts had expected the index to 108.1.
It was the second consecutive month that the index fell. The decline is in line with the ZEW index last week, which showed that analysts and investors have a gloomier view of the economic development in the last month.
