Part-time firefighters in Fire-fighters’ Association, BRF, refuses since early this morning to perform certain tasks after a conflict initiated by the SKL.
The conflict began after the Fire-fighters’ Association, BRF, said no to the mediators bid. Swedish Association of Local Authorities and Regions, which is the other party, but said yes.
In Västmanland affected some 90 part-time firefighters:
– There are some groups that it made people, and there will not bring in any replacements. Then the disease, will not bring in any replacements, says Christopher Hagstrom, part-time firefighter in Hallstahammar and vice president of BRF’s local association of Västmanland.
The background to the conflict is to part-time firefighters want higher wages and the right to holiday pay.
