575 people redundant by Sony Mobile in Lund and at the same time about 400 consultants leave the company.
– We have reached an agreement on the organization and staffing should look, says Kajsa Petersson, Head of Communications at Sony Mobile in Lund, Sweden, to Sydsvenskan.
After the cut, approximately 1,200 people work at Sony Mobile in Lund.
What happens to those who do not get to keep working?
– It’s very competent staff, so we think they have a future somewhere else and we will do everything we can to support them on the way.
Lene Eriksson is a Union shop steward at Sony Mobile in Lund and she is relatively satisfied with the negotiations.
– It felt like the management listened to us. We are pleased to have saved the workers at the expense of the consultants, she says.
