Cevian pumps ABB shares – Realtid.se

Cevian Capital is today the second largest shareholder in ABB, according to the engineering company.

Cevian Capital owns since 27 May around 71.7 million shares in ABB, which represents 3.1 percent of the total share capital and voting rights.

“We welcome Cevian Capital II GP Limited’s investment in ABB and, as with all of our shareholders, appreciate its commitment and input,” writes ABB said in a statement on the site, according to Reuters.

The news agency also made contact with Cevian Capital’s managing partner Christer Gardell as saying that “We think that ABB is a good company where we see great potential value.”

The largest shareholder the Company’s Investor with 9.3 percent of capital and votes in the company.

Next to Cevian is BlackRock’s largest shareholder with 3 percent of capital and votes.

Cavians portfolio also includes Volvo ThyssenKrupp, Bilfinger, Danske Bank and G4S.
