But it may take a few weeks before the district court responds to Nevs request. First, the creditors have the chance to be heard.

Nevs, who had taken over most of Saab Automobile’s bankruptcy, had financial problems in the spring. The company’s basic idea is to build electric Saabs, but so far only a few hundred petrol cars built at the factory in Trollhättan.

Nevs now negotiating with two major Asian automotive manufacturers to get more capital. Rumors have pointed out Chinese Dongfeng and Indian Mahindra.

In August, Vänersborgs District Court to put Nevs in reconstruction for three months, the company’s own request. If you want to extend the time, an application must be made no later than Monday. And so it is.

– We believe we have grounds for an extension, said Nevs Communications Mikael Östlund.

The district court’s decision is delayed a bit. Nevs creditors must be heard, which is expected to take a week or two.

– It may also be necessary to have a meeting at which the administrator will be able to answer questions and comments, says alderman Anders Björk at Vänersborgs District Court .
