Johan Carlström received written warning of Fingerprint Cards – the world of Business

Fingerprint Cards, and major shareholder, former ceo and later business developer Johan Carlström was given a written warning from the company’s board of directors in connection with statements he made via his twitter account. It is clear from a decision on the liquidated damages from the Stockholm stock exchange’s disciplinary committee, which was announced on Friday.

Fingerprint Cards has been ordered to pay a fine, among other things, as a result of Johan Carlström Twitter statements, which shall have been on three occasions – once in september 2015, and two times in march 2016.

In his speech, Fingerprint Cards, and stated that Johan Carlström, by reason of his inappropriate statements, initially received a written reminder from the Fingerprint Cards that the statements meant breaches of the company’s communications policy and that he in the future did not make any statements of any kind that could be seen as representing the Fingerprint.

“When Carlström then made new statements via his twitter account he received a written warning by the board of directors to the effect that he could be dismissed from his employment in the event of further statements if the company or its affairs on Twitter or otherwise”, is called it in the document.

Johan Carlström at the same time had only limited access to the company’s premises without network access, it is apparent from the document.

Fingerprint and Johan Carlström decided jointly to end Johan Carlströms employment in the company with effect from October 15, 2016, the company notes in its statement.

According to the company, Johan has Carlströms twittering, as he had made in a private capacity, not based on information other than such information as is properly communicated and widely available on the market and can not mean that the company has committed any breach of the rules.

In his defense sets the Fingerprint that it believes that the company has taken the measures which may be considered necessary in this regard.

In september of 2015 tweeted Johan Carlström, among other things, that he thought that fingersensorbolaget “handled correctly,” could have a higher market capitalization in the year 2020 than Ericsson has in the day.

In march 2016, he did mikrobloggen assessments on how many sensors the company was expected to deliver in 2016.
