The fans flocking and Frans has been improved – Eskilstuna Courier

The Eurovision Song Contest has landed in Stockholm. Mans Zelmerlöw took the grand slam last year when he almost outshone the competition in Wiener Stadshalle and brought the Eurovision contest back to Sweden.

This is the sixth time that Sweden stands as a host country of the Eurovision Song Contest, and in this contest, Sweden is a real power, only Ireland has won more times than Sweden. Sweden is actually the country that also received the most votes in the semi-finals since they were introduced.

Last we arranged the Eurovision Song Contest was in Malmo in 2013 and then, thanks to Loreen’s victory in Baku. But Stockholm has not hosted the event since 2000, so it’s all over sixteen years ago. The competition takes place in the Globe and which have rehearsals been going on for just over a week’s time. All delegations arrived last Monday to Stockholm.

Eurovision is always going in 14 days, there are so many countries that will have time to rehearse on the stage and film meet press and fans during his stay in Stockholm. Some countries have actually found time to be a tourist bit. East Riska fan-favorite Zoe visited Abba Museum on Sunday and took the opportunity to make a visit to Astrid Lindgren’s World. Other artists the opportunity to visit Skansen and Stockholm turns out really at its best. It seems that all get on very well and the weather has been wonderful. The official utestället Euro Club has been built up in a makeshift facility on the wharf just below the castle. Here socialize artists, delegations, fans and the press in the evenings. The location is fantastic with the upstairs balconies overlooking the water.

New for this year is that Sweden has chosen to let all the fans who are a member of one of Europe’s fan clubs Access Euroclub. This has meant that instead gets stocked every night. Even for Stockholmers are given the chance to experience Eurovision atmosphere when the day is open to the public and is then called Euro Fan Café.

Swedish Representative Frans has had time to rehearse twice on the stage of the Globe. Francis felt a bit uninspired but the same happened in rehearsals in the contest, he gave a listless impression there but then when it got the audience in the arena found Frans multiple switches. Already for the second rehearsal on Sunday, when there was pressure on the spot, I found Frans awakened. He feels otherwise very calm and gives a cool impression.

But the interest in Sweden is not very large when compared to last year, but a host country contributions usually in some strange way, not be as interesting to the media. Sweden is not among the countries that most everyone talking about but I think the Frenchman still can surprise many when it really counts. This means that he should be able to get a top 10 placement with this song, but it is enough to win still feels farfetched.

What comes next are the first semifinal, and this race including our Nordic neighbors Finland and Iceland. In the first semifinal pops also one of the year’s biggest advance up the favorites and it is about Russia and singer Sergei. It is a very neat numbers will sail directly to the finals tonight.
