Two farmers start new dairy in Varmland – ATL

Pressed settlement prices of milk makes more trying to find alternatives to deliver to dairies.

In Värmland has two farmers decided to start limited liability company to operate their own dairy business under the name Arvika district’s dairy.

the investment of several million, and the hope is to be able to get a better price for the milk they sell themselves.

– the milk will cost little more than Arla commercially. How much we do not know, it determines the trader, but we believe that the customer wants the locally produced milk, says Robert Aronius to the newspaper.

They leave today milk to Arla but choose to use the opportunity to split delivering milk .

For the newspaper say they have agreements with a chain and a local bakery. It is still unclear when the milk begins to be delivered to the store.

In Arvika are five dairy farms.
