It was for 6 May as the fire broke out. It started as a grass fire, which quickly spread to the forest. Fighting in the 150-hectare area of fire lasted for a week.
According to police, the fire was not laid out with the intention, but must have been because the person negligently thrown out ashes. The person suspected of endangering the public vårdlöshet, a crime that can give six months’ imprisonment.
The police are now continuing to investigate how the fire started to determine whether the event should be considered as an accident or not.
