The strike in Skärgårdstrafiken end – Sveriges Radio

A core issue in the past, the negotiations have been wages. The union wanted to see tariff wages while employers advocates individual salaries. The negotiations have now resulted in two agreements with tariff wages due.

“We won the battle on tariff wages, it was most important for us”, says Mats Jäderland, CEO of Merchant Marine Officers’ Association, in a press release.

the strike has been ongoing since mid-April and affected the ferry and pendelbåtstrafiken in Gothenburg and Stockholm. The strike was scheduled to be extended.

Gotlandsbolaget’ve bought a majority stake in TRSM Group which won the tender of a large part of the archipelago traffic in Stockholm
